Obituary of Elizabeth R. Vilagi

Elizabeth R. Vilagi, 97, of Brick Township died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Brick Township. Mrs. Vilagi was born in Shadyside and had resided in Perth Amboy and Keyport before moving to Brick. She was a seamstress for New York Girl’s Coat Factory, Perth Amboy. Her husband, Andrew Vilagi, died in 1962. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Susan Vilagi, Freehold; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann Kintz, Plantation, Florida and Elizabeth and Francis Perrino, Holmdel Township; three grandchildren, Theodore Kiwior, Dr. Dina Marie Perrino-Tsompanidis, and Anthony Perrino; and three great grandchildren, Antonios and Stephanos Tsompanidis and Giacinta Rose Perrino. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Hopelawn.
