Obituary of Vincent John Vimbor

Vincent John Vimbor, 68, of Freehold died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Care One at Holmdel. He was born in Montreal, Canada. He was a driver for DHL, East Windsor before his retirement. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local No. 295 and a Friend of Bill W. for 36 years. Vin was an alumni of Mount Assumption Academy in Plattsburgh, N.Y. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Slade Vimbor; his sons, Ralph Vimbor and wife Karen and Vincent Vimbor and wife Tara; two daughters, Jennifer Vimbor and husband Coby and Jeana Vimbor; his mother, Jean Adamovich; a brother, Paul Adams and wife Karleen; a sister, Nancy Drouin and husband Jean Luc; three granddaughters, Bliss, Arden, and Jordan; two nephews, Patrick and Mark; and a niece, Taylor. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Humane Society, Tinton Falls, NJ or Seton Academy, 23 St. Charles Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901 would be appreciated.
