Obituary of Richard H. Walters

Richard H. Walters, 91, of Brick Township died Sunday at home. He was born in Monroe Township and was a former Freehold resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Walters was a food production manager for Roekech, Farmingdale before his retirement. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post of Brick. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann Cashion Walters in 1987 and a son, Richard Henry Walters, Jr. in 2001. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Susan Walters. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
