Obituary of John Perri
John Perri, Sr., 84, of Marlboro Township passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at home. Born in Freehold, he moved to Marlboro Township 52 years ago.
Mr. Perri was employed by the State of New Jersey as a Red Seal Engineer at Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital, Marlboro Township.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
An avid gardener and talented craftsman, he enjoyed splitting wood and the New York Yankees.
He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey Haliniak Perri, in 2003.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, John Perri, Jr. and his wife, Helena, Marlboro Township, and Michael Patrick and Susan Perri, Freehold; seven grandchildren, Shannon, Alissa, Cassidy, Anthony, Kristy, Bonnie and Amy; and five great grandchildren, R.J., Carmine, Gabriella, Grace,Savannah and Alexander.
Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the Marlboro Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum, Marlboro Township.
