Obituary of Rosemarie S. McDonald

Rosemarie S. McDonald, 71, of Hudson, Florida died June 25, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Mrs. McDonald was born in New York City and had resided in the Sunnyside section of Staten Island before moving to Florida 26 years ago. She was a former communicant of St. Theresa’s Church, Sunnyside, Staten Island and a member of Polish-American Association, Holiday, Florida and a Past President of the Polish League of American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. McDonald was a loving wife, mother, and nana. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Joseph E. McDonald; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. and Jill E. McDonald; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Riley. A memorial gathering will be held at the Gordons Corner Fire Company Satellite Building, 226 Pease Road, Manalapan on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Polish League of American Veterans, Walter Weiss Post No. 196, PO Box 6413, Spring Hill, FL 34611 would be appreciated.
