Obituary of Pauline Hunko Harsche
Pauline Hunko Harsche, 90, of Manalapan Township went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 5, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of Manalapan and spent 30 years working at the Freehold Raceway and Monmouth Park. She was also involved with numerous charities.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Walter Harsche; her parents, Steven and Anastasia Hunko; her sisters, Olga, Anna, and Mary and brothers, Roger and Pete Hunko.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Kathie) Soden and son-in-law, Bill Bracey; two sons, Richard (Richie) Harsche and daughter-in-law, Phyllis and Robert (Bob) Harsche and daughter-in-law Sue; grandchildren, David and Travis Harsche, Mary Lynn Crosnoe, Patrick McGuire, David Bracey and Nancy Hogan Bracey; and great grandchildren, Jordon Crosnoe, Ethan Bracey, and Katlin Harsche.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, 700 Old Bridge Turnpike, East Brunswick on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Nativity of Our Lord Church or to your favorite charity in Pauline’s memory.
