Obituary of Martha Raisch

Martha Raisch, 87, of Howell Township died on July 12, 1014 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township. Mrs. Raisch was born in Brunary, Nizne, Poland and had resided in Bayonne and Hopelawn before moving to Howell Township. She was a supervisor of RCA, Rahway before her retirement. Prior to that, she was employed at Western Electric, Kearny. Mrs. Raisch was a graduate of Lincoln School, Bayonne where she was 8th grade class valedictorian. She went on to graduate from the Bayonne Evening High School. Her husband, Kenneth W. Raisch, died in 1999. A daughter, Barbara L. Raisch, died in 1991. She was also predeceased by a brother, Stephen Mamrosh. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth C. and Nancy Raisch; and her godson Thomas Kraft and his wife Marianne Moscatiello. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
