Obituary of Shirley Joyce McCann Rowlinson

Shirley Joyce McCann Rowlinson, 82, of Freehold Township died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was born in Howell Township and had resided in Freehold all her life. She was a supervisor for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company, Freehold where she was employed for 40 years before her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a former member of Court St. Rose of Lima No. 737, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Freehold. Surviving are her husband, Donald E. Rowlinson; a son, Donald McCann; a brother, Alex McCann, and a sister, Helen Witkowski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Chapel, Freehold on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
