Obituary of William Philpot

William Philpot, 72, of Clarksburg died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in Highland Park. Mr. Philpot was a custom home contractor before his retirement. He was a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Union Local No. 1006, Milltown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking his catches. He was a former member of the Cross Pile Hunting Club and enjoyed Blue Grass music and traveling to Blue Grass music festivals. He was a former member of B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 2613, Millstone Township. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Mable Hughes Philpot. Surviving are his wife, Susan Mauch Philpot; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Harry Bingenheimer and Cynthia and Robert Lindsay; three brothers, Harry, Richard, and John Philpot; a sister and brother-in-law Janet and George Schneider; and two grandsons, Charles and Zachary. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Millstone Elks Lodge, 22 Burnt Tavern Road, Clarksburg on Sunday, August 3 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the N.J.
