Obituary of Mary Hart

Mary Hart, 70, of Jackson Township died Monday, August 11, 2014 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township following an extended illness. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived and worked most of her life in Bergen County. A graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Lodi and Marywood College, Scranton, Pennsylvania, she was a dedicated educator for more than forty years. Miss Hart taught Home Economics in the Ridgefield School System and later at Dickinson High School, Jersey City, where her students were always her greatest priority. She was predeceased by her parents, Rosemary Dunn Hart and James M. F. Hart of New York. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Barbara Hart and three nephews, Liam, Daniel, and Connor Hart. Private memorial services will be held at a later date at Saint Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, and St John the Evangelist Church, Center Moriches, N. Y. under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. She will be interred at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hartsdale, New York.
