Obituary of Shayna J. Turner McRae

Shayna J. Turner McRae, 22, of Jackson Township (Freehold) died August 19, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. She was born in Newark, and resided in both Freehold and Jackson. She attended Brick Memorial High School and studied accounting at Brookdale Community College. She was employed at Basement Xperts in Freehold as an administrative assistant. Shayna was a faithful member at Faith Tabernacle Church in Freehold, singing on the choir regularly and ushering as a youth. She was well known by people throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties. Her personality was both loveable and feisty. She leaves behind a daughter, Rhea Bryant, parents, Stephen and LaTonya McRae, two sisters, Skyla Rivera and Stephanie McRae, grandparents, Rudolph and Gloria Turner and an enormous host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. She will be sorely missed by so many people. Viewing will be held at Faith Tabernacle Church, 11 Avenue A, Freehold on Friday, 1-2 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the church at 2pm. Arrangement handled by Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
