Obituary of Kenneth Anthony Lester

Kenneth Anthony Lester, 53, of Freehold Township died Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Georgia. He was born in Neptune Township and had resided in Freehold most of his life. He had served in the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1984. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist church, Freehold. Surviving are a son, Daniel Well, Kissimmee, Florida; two brothers, Carl Lester and Victor Ballard, both of Jackson; five sisters, Maryann Lester, Lyons, Bessie Abou el Asaad, Savannah, Georgia, Evelyn Lester, Asbury Park, Katie Lester, Brick, and Jeanette Perry, Lancaster, California; an uncle, Fred Jackson Trenton; three grandchildren; and his girlfriend, Cynthia Campbell, Lakewood. The viewing will be held at Praise Temple, 3617 Route 33, Neptune on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
