Obituary of Phyllis C. Stanley

Phyllis C. Stanley, 69, of Jackson Township died August 16, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Staten Island, N.Y. and had resided in Surrey Downs for 23 years before moving to Jackson. She was a secretary for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Freehold before her retirement. Phyllis was a graduate of St. Rose of Lima School and Freehold High School. Surviving are her husband, Cornelius Stanley; two daughters, Betsy Cordier and Faith Jones; a brother, Raymond Kennedy; two sisters, Cathy Buchalski and Joan Fausak; three grandchildren, Maren Jones and Alex and Nicholas D’Atri; and many family members too numerous to include in this brief obituary. A memorial gathering will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
