Obituary of Faith Sten

Faith “Faye” (Luciano) Sten, 73, of Howell Township beloved wife of the late Richard D. Sten and daughter of Anthony and Dorothy Hecht Luciano passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 25, 2014 with her son and loving caretaker, Karl Sten, by her side. Faye was born and raised in the Boston, Massachusetts area. She married Richard in 1967 and lived in Quincy, Massachusetts with son Karl until moving to Howell Township in 1976. Faye was a fantastic swimmer and taught swimming lessons for many years. Faye worked with her husband Richard at their McDonald’s store in Long Beach, New York. After Faye and Rich retired as McDonald’s franchise owners they traveled the East Coast in their RV. Faye loved to golf, travel with her girlfriends to Atlantic City, and she never had a thought she was too timid to share! In addition to her son Karl, Faye is survived by her sister, Patti. Faye will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews from both the Sten and Luciano families--as well as by the Krauss family whose boys she considered her adopted grandsons.
