Obituary of Elsa Carmen Pequich de Brunori

Elsa Carmen Pequich de Brunori, known as "Kiki", of Toms River, New Jersey, widow of loving husband Jose Maria Antonio Brunori passed away peacefully on October 7, 2014, the Feast of the Holy Rosary, at her home, surrounded by her loving children. Kiki was 82 years old and is survived by her daughter, Ana M. Reilly and husband, Joseph and their four children, Matthew, Mark, Victoria and Katherine; her son-in-law, Henry Raggio, widower of daughter, M. Gabriella Raggio, and their two children, Lucas and Marcella; son, Isidoro Adrian Brunori; daughter Karina Pia Lucid and husband, Thomas and their daughter, Cordelia Theresa. Kiki was born in Rosario, Argentina where she grew up, met, and married her childhood sweetheart at Nuestra Senora de la Merced parish. Jose Maria and Kiki immigrated to the United States in 1963. Kiki was a faithful servant of Christ, a devoted wife, a wonderful mother and grandmother; she was adventurous, hard working, and selfless; loved traveling, cooking unbelievable dinners and hosting family celebrations. From 1987-2000 Kiki was the proud owner of Fancy Flowers by Karina Inc., a retail flower shop in Englishtown New Jersey where her whole family had a great time working together. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday, October 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, 549 Route 520, Marlboro on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery. Flowers are more than welcome at the service or, if so desired memorial donations may be made in Kiki's name to the New Jersey State Organization of Cystic Fibrosis, 137 Union Boulevard, Totowa, New Jersey 07512
