Obituary of Patricia Buziak
Patricia Stivitski Buziak, 92, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2016. Pat was born on March 17, 1924 in Pringle, Pa. She lived life to the fullest and believed the world celebrated her birthday with her every St. Patrick’s Day. She was a devoted daughter who cared for both her parents until their deaths. She worked for the Central Jersey Railroad her entire life. Pat married her husband Stanley late in life. They enjoyed traveling, getting together with friends and doing the polka at the many parties they attended together. Even after her husband’s death, “Aunt Pat” enjoyed celebrating many events with the NJ Crew and taught us to enjoy the “first today (with our left hand)”.
Patricia was the daughter of Clem and Rose Stivitski. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Buziak. She is survived by her sisters-in law, Stella McMonagle and Jean Norton, her cousin Helen Vidunis and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 4 pm to 7:30 pm at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church, 457 Monmouth Street, Jersey City on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10 am with internment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia’s name to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or a charity of your own choosing.lzheime
