Obituary of Gregory Scott Eldridge

Gregory Scott Eldridge, 64, of Union City died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Veterans Administration Healthcare System, Bernards Township. He was born in Weehawken and was a lifelong resident of Union City. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a self-employed home contractor. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis Eldridge and Jewel Spillner Coughi. Surviving are his children, Kimberly Jovan and husband Greg, Mesa, Arizona, Gregory Eldridge, Point Pleasant, and Jill Babic and husband Brett, Morganville; eight beautiful grandchildren, Victoria, Gregory, Tyler, Christopher, Nicolas, Amanda, Cole, and Jack; and his brothers and sisters, Douglas Hall, and wife Nancy, Secaucus, Heather Farley and husband Bob, Bayonne; Kim Coughi-Makky and husband Sam, Clementon, and Rich Coughi, Clementon. Services will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
