Obituary of Mary B. Clarkin
Mary B. Clarkin, 84, of Freehold died Monday, December 1, 2014 at home. She was born in New York City and had resided in Freehold for most of her life.
She was a data entry clerk for Avaya, Parsippany before her retirement.
A son, John Clarkin, died in 1991.
Surviving are three sons, Joseph M. Clarkin and wife Diane, Spotsylvania, Virginia, Michael Clarkin, Freehold, and Christopher Clarkin, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Maureen Jerolis and husband John, Freehold and Kathy Clarkin, Freehold; a brother, John McGrath, Yorktown Heights, NY.; four sisters, Pat McGrath, Canandaigua, N.Y., Kit Smyth, Palmyra, N.Y., Marge Shovak, Staten Island, N.Y., and Eileen Nespola-Breslin, Rockaway, N.Y.; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad, 18 Spring Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 or the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey, 176 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701 would be appreciated.
