Obituary of Charles W. Malekovich, Jr.

Charles W. Malekovich, Jr., 81, of Freehold passed away on May 24, 2023 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong Freehold resident. He was a graduate of Freehold High School, Class of 1962 and served in the U. S. Army from 1964 to 1966. He was predeceased by his parents. Charles W. Malekovich, Sr. and Lillian Demchenko Malekovich, a sister, Susan and a brother-in-law, Robert Edward Pluta. He was employed at U.S. Steel, Perth Amboy before his retirement. Prior to that, he was employed at Brockway Glass Company, Freehold Township. Surviving are a brother, William F. Malekovich; two sisters, Lori Pluta and Linda Hampton and husband Robert; and many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
