Obituary of Viola Tackett

Viola Tackett, 84, of Myerstown, Pennsylvania died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was born in the Phalanx section of Colts Neck Township. Mrs. Tackett was a former member of the Old Brick Reformed Church, Marlboro and the Marlboro Fire Company Auxiliary. Her husband, Donald Bruce Tackett, Sr. died on May 3, 2014. Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Dail; a son, Donald Bruce Tackett, Jr.; a sister, Ginger Franklin; her grandchildren, Christine Goldenbaum and Lynda Golden; and her great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Anthony and Emily Goldenbaum and Adrianna and Alexia Butare. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held during the viewing at 8:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. followed by interment at the Old Brick Reformed Church Cemetery, Marlboro Township. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or the Special Olympics would be appreciated.
