Obituary of Craig J. Holtz

Craig J. Holtz, 65, of Brick Township died on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township He was born in Long Branch and had resided in Freehold, Jackson Township, and Lakehurst before moving to Brick. He was a graduate of Freehold Borough High School, Class of 1976. Craig was a mason before his retirement and a member of International Union BAC Locals 4 & 5, Bordentown. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest J. Holtz and Edna Higgins Holtz. Surviving are a son, Mark Holtz; two sisters and a brother, Ellen H. Kenny, Christopher J. Holtz and Eileen H. Beesley and her husband Philip; two grandchildren, Pemberley and Zachary; two nephews, Scott Beesley and Brendan Kenny; and two nieces, Caitlin Sullivan and Claire Langley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
