Obituary of Mary Rosamond Higdon (nee Martin)

Mary Rosamond Higdon (nee Martin), 86, of West Windsor Township passed away on April 22, 2023 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia, Penn. She was born in Orange and was a longtime resident of Ridgewood. Mrs. Higdon was a graduate of Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, the College Club of Ridgewood, a supporter of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Metropolitan Opera, and the New York Philharmonic, all of New York City, and a frequent traveler. Mrs. Higdon was a sales associate at Lord and Taylor, Paramus before her retirement. She was the widow of Donald George Higdon who died in 2016. Surviving are a son, Andrew D. Higdon, Hudson, Massachusetts, a daughter, Dr. Laura J. Higdon, Chicago, Ill. and a sister, Kathleen Martin, Freehold. Graveside services will be held at Rosedale Cemetery, Montclair on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 2 p.m. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
