Obituary of Martin C. Goldfine

Martin C. Goldfine, 69, of Colts Neck Township died Monday, December 8, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. He was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong resident of the Freehold area. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Mr. Goldfine was a graduate the Peddie School, Hightstown; and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was a certified public accountant and financial advisor. He was a former member of Congregation Agudath Achim, Freehold. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Anne Goldfine. He was an outstanding and loving husband, father and “Papa” and is survived by his wife, Fran Goldfine; a son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Jessica Goldfine; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Joshua Michaels; and his grandchildren, Harrison and Sawyer Goldfine and Nathan and Asher Michaels. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Congregation Sons of Israel Cemetery, Manalapan Township.
