Obituary of Jane M. Wegelin

Jane M. Wegelin, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge, NJ. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Jane resided in Colonia until moving to Colts Neck in 1961. Jane was a homemaker who loved her family and cherished her children / grandchildren. She love gardening, enjoyed camping with her family and spoiled everyone with her wonderful home cooked meals. Jane was a devout Christian with a very strong faith in God. She was known for being a very kind, gentle and caring soul, who was always there for her family and loved to help others. Jane was predeceased by her husband, Philip in 2017. She is survived by her three children, Linda Taylor (Roger), Carol Huet (Charles) and Phil Wegelin (Sandra - deceased). She is also survived by five grandchildren, Arty (Jennifer Nicole) and Arlynn Flecker, Nathan and Rachel Huet and Jessica (Darylynn) Sargent. She was also fortunate enough to have had six great-grandchildren. A private viewing for the family will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold NJ. A private funeral service service for the family will follow at 2:00 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
