Obituary of Sondra Renee Friedman

On February 7th Sondra Renee Friedman of East Brunswick NJ died, she was 67. She is survived by her brother Richard Friedman, his wife Ha Nguyen and their children Benjamin and Julie. Sondra was a registered nurse at East Orange General Hospital for 34 years before retiring in 2019 due to illness. Sondra always wanted to be a nurse and her love of nursing showed in her dedication and knowledge. She was respected by her fellow workers, doctors and patients for her skill and caring. Sondra was a responsible and caring person. She spent many years attending to her invalid father and later to her mother. They were both very lucky to have been cared for by such a loving daughter. An animal lover for all of her life, she had and rescued many cats and dogs over the years. With her good friends she was able to find homes for many stray animals, keeping many of them herself. Her house was her love, and she kept an immaculate home. Beautifully decorated and furnished it was always a showcase. Even during her last years when her mobility was so challenged, she kept up her home. Sondra died too young and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
