Obituary of Howard Martin Schreier

Howard Martin Schreier, 88, of Hazlet Township passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel Township. He was born in New York City. Mr. Schreier was a self-employed licensed plumber from 1962 until his retirement. He served in the Army National Guard. He had attended New York University, New York City. He was a member of Young Israel of Aberdeen-Temple Bet Tefilah, Matawan where he was a member of the Men’s Club. He was predeceased by his brother, Theodore Schreier. Surviving are his wife, Leona Bodner Schreier; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol Schreier; a daughter, Susan Williams and husband Sola; and three grandchildren, Caleb and his wife Nicole, Jai, and Allayna. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by interment at Hebrew Benefit Society Cemetery, Freehold.
