Obituary of Elsie Grace Davison Boldt

Elsie Grace Davison Boldt, 81, of Howell Township, New Jersey peacefully passed away on January 20, 2023. She was born to Luella and Charles Davison at Fitkin Hospital, Neptune Township, N.J. on May 13, 1941. Elsie was a loving wife to Edwin Boldt for 63 years, their marriage was a true testament to love and friendship. Elsie was the mother of three children; Beverly (who sadly predeceased her in death in 2019), and twin sons, Scott and James. She was a caring, helpful mother-in-law to Scott’s wife, Holly and Jim’s wife, Janet. Elsie was the archetype of the traditional loving and caring mother, known for always telling her children and family to “Be Careful”. She was able to extend her love and caring to four grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, Justin, and Kaitlyn. She was instrumental in their care as she unselfishly gave her time and love to watch over them and help raise them while their parents worked. Elsie was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Finley and Emilia. She is survived by her sister (and best friend ) Charlotte Collins and her husband, Jack, and her brother, Charles Davison and his wife, Janet. She will be remembered by many for her kindness, her love, and her caring and compassion. Visitation will be at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Thursday, January 26, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
