Obituary of Mildred Matlin

Mildred Matlin, 93, of Freehold died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Matlin was born in New Brunswick and had resided in South River before moving to Freehold. Mrs. Matlin was a member of the Hebrew Benefit Society, Freehold and the Women’s Jewish League of New Jersey. Her husband, Max Matlin, died in 1992. Surviving are two sons, Marc Matlin and wife Rochelle and Jeffrey Matlin; a daughter, Jane Moldavan and husband Aaron; two grandchildren, Michelle and Adam Moldavan; and a sister-in-law, Estelle Hasenberg. Funeral services will be held at the Hebrew Benefit Society Cemetery, 164 Route 33, Freehold on Wednesday at noon. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
