Obituary of Gail J. Gross

Gail J. Gross passed peacefully at Aristacare at Whiting nursing home on December 16, 2022. Born to Harold & Rose Randall on May 7, 1947; born and raised in the Bronx, NY. She met her soon to be husband, Michael on a New York Rangers fan club bus trip up to Toronto, and they were married several years later on November 22, 1970. She worked as bookkeeper in NY for several years, before marrying Michael and moving out to New Jersey where she lived most of her life and raised their daughter Alicia, as a homemaker… She and Michael moved to Florida for 4.5 years, before moving back to New Jersey when Michael passed away in 2008. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Mickey Mantle; and the New York Rangers and Rod Gilbert. She was pre-deceased in life by her mother and father, Rose and Harold Randall; her grandmother/grandfather Eva & Anthony Triolo, her sister Estelle Sharkey, and her loving husband Michael Gross. She was survived by her loving daughter, Alicia (grand dog Brianna Rose), her cousin, Sheila Shulman, her nephews, Michael Sharkey, Neal Sharkey, and her niece Holly Cortez. Services are under the direction of Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold with interment at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus on Monday, December 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Donations can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or to the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad, 18 Spring Street, Freehold, NJ 07728.
