Obituary of Patricia Croddick Delatush
Patricia Croddick Delatush, 75, of Wall Township died at home on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born in Long Branch and had resided in Marlboro and Freehold before moving to the Shore area where she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren at Manasquan Beach.
She was an elementary school teacher for the Marlboro School District for 35 years before her retirement in 2006.
Patti was a graduate of Freehold High School, Class of 1965 and Georgian Court College, Lakewood, Class of 1969.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene F. Croddick in 2002 and Florence Hanaway Croddick in 2007; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Snyder in 2018.
Surviving are a son, John J. Delatush and his wife, Tymara Berry; a brother, John Croddick and wife Virginia; three sisters, Jean Ellen Avery and husband Michael Brookes, Mary Snyder and Margaret Lempka and husband Edward; three grandchildren, Ella Rose, Lucy Gene, and Henry Delatush; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, 549 Route 520, Marlboro on Monday at 11 a.m. followed by inurnment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery.
