Obituary of Betty J Amore

Betty J. Amore, 84, of Holmdel Township died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at The Willows, Holmdel Township. She was born in Staten Island, New York. Mrs. Amore loved music and dancing, had a wonderful singing voice, and was a great cook. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Surviving are two sons, Frank Amore and his wife, Kathy and Vincent Amore; a daughter Cathy Amore-Crescibene and her husband Dow; a brother, Carmine Monforte and his wife Marlene; and her grandchildren, Jo-Jo, Jenna, Alexis, and Paige. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro Township.
