Obituary of John R. "PeeWee" Tillman

John R. “PeeWee” Tillman, 82, of Freehold passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. He was born in Freehold and resided in Manalapan Township before moving back to Freehold 20 years ago. He was a chef by trade and owner of PeeWee’s Supersubs at the Englishtown Auction. He was predeceased by a son, Daniel Tillman, in 2015. Surviving are a son, John Tillman and wife Mia, and Mike Tillman and wife Katy; a daughter, Jeannie Gatyas; a brother, Edward Tillman; four sisters, Nancy Stott, Judy Gibson, Holly Warner, and Linda Musolf; and four grandchildren, Kyle and Brooke Gatyas and Derrick and Anna Tillman. Private memorial services will be held under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
