Obituary of Bruce A. Patrick

Bruce A. Patrick, 69, of Freehold passed away on October 12, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Staten Island, N.Y. Bruce was a graduate of Drew University, Madison and earned a Master of Science Degree from Wagner University, Staten Island. He was a research scientist for the New York State Institute for Basic Research, Staten Island. Bruce served on the Borough of Freehold Board of Education for the past 11 years and was board liaison to the Freehold Borough Educational Foundation. He organized blood drives for the American Red Cross. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Anne Catlin Patrick, two brothers, Douglas and Marc Patrick; and a sister, Candace Patrick. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Melchiorre Patrick; a daughter, Candace Patrick; two brothers, two brothers, Theodore Patrick and husband Mark Gonzales and Craig Patrick; a sister, Dianne Patrick. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Freehold Borough Educational Foundation, care of 6 Hance Blvd, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
