Obituary of Marianne Helen Gaeta

Marianne Helen Gaeta, 90 of Freehold passed away on October 6, 2022 surrounded by her family after three months in the hospital. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she has resided in Freehold for over 50 years. After raising four boys, Marianne obtained a degree in computer science from Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, graduating with High Honors. She secured a job with Bell Labs after graduation and worked there for several years. Marianne also founded the first Birthright office in Freehold and was able to organize a viable program which helped many women have their babies. She helped them get food, clothing, shelter, and other things to support their babies. She is survived by her husband James; her sons, James, and his wife Li; John, Tom and William; and her two granddaughters, LisaMarie and Luxi. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold at Noon. Interment will follow at the Brigadier Doyle William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
