Obituary of Carol M. Christer

Carol M. Christer, 87, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Jackson. Carol was employed at the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office before her retirement. Surviving are a son, John Christer, Jackson; a daughter and son-in-law, Debby and Richard Forman, Jackson; a brother, Donald Simons; two sisters Irene Grabowski, Phoenix, Arizona and Nancy Olson-Hilton, Washington, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 12 to 1 P.M. Funeral Service will follow at 1 P.M. followed by entombment at the Holmdel Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission, 701 Memorial Drive, Asbury Park, NJ 07712 would be appreciated.
