Obituary of Robert G. Ohliger

Robert G. Ohliger, 84 of Manalapan Township passed away on September 2, 2022 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Lynbrook, New York, he lived in Malvern, New York prior to moving to Manalapan Township 40 years ago. Mr. Ohliger was an electronics engineer for the U.S. Army, Fort Monmouth. He was a member of Old Tennent Presbyterian Church, Tennent. Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Roberta M. Rohrbach Ohliger; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and William Doerrler, Manalapan Township; a son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Yana Ohliger, New Brunswick; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Kathleen Ohliger, Freeport, New York; and five grandchildren, Katherine and Robert Doerrler and Charlotte, Veronica and Cameron Ohliger. Funeral services will be private. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
