Obituary of Lucy Teresa Vaccaro

Lucy Teresa Vaccaro, 85, of Freehold Township died Friday, January 2, 2015 at home. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Freehold in 1999. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Frank Vaccaro and her brothers and sisters, Carmine, Mary, Rosie, Rocco, Anthony, and Danny. Surviving are her children, John Vaccaro and wife Kim, Michael Vaccaro and wife Simonne, and Joseph Vaccaro and wife Linda; her grandchildren, Joseph Marc and wife Theresa, Barbara, Valeen and spouse Inessa, J.J. and wife Kelly, Jessica, Mikey, Joey and wife Chrissy, Thomas, Kristina, Jenna, and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Gianna and Anthony. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, January 5, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated.
