Obituary of Mary L. Mahoney

Mary L. Mahoney, 86, of Marlboro Township passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Chelsea at Manalapan. Mrs. Mahoney was born in the Siloam section of Freehold Township and was a longtime Marlboro resident. She was a member of the Old Brick Reformed Church, Marlboro Township. Her husband, John J. Mahoney, died in 1999. Surviving are a son, Steven Mahoney and wife Karen; a daughter, Sharon Mahoney; two grandsons, Richard and Zachary Mahoney; a niece, Lisa Yocum; and many other nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Old Brick Reformed Church, 490 Route 520 East, Marlboro on Wednesday at 2 p.m. followed by interment at the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Old Brick Reformed Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
