Obituary of Edwin Schwartzman

Edwin Schwartzman, born March 27, 1933, of Freehold Township, New Jersey, peacefully passed away at his daughter’s home in Howell Township, New Jersey on Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was 89 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life Lois (11/3/2003). He is survived by his brother, Lester Schwartzman (Esther) of Boynton Beach Fl, his five daughters, Miriam Smith (Christopher Browning) of Howell NJ, Susan Lyon (William) of Paw Paw WV, Judith Thacke (Scott) of Howell NJ, Anne Skibniewski (Mark) of Old Bridge NJ, and Ruth Cook (Jack O’Donnel) of Westampton NJ, his 12 grandchildren, Davi Koltenuk, Jesse Trahim, Lela Lyon (Alex Summerville), Carly Lyon (Thomas Quasney), Joanna Thacke, Jacob Thacke, Samuel Thacke, Tegan Skibniewski, Kiri Skibniewski, Nia Skibniewski, Steven Skibniewski and Amanda Cook (Charles Frizzelle III), his 2 great grandchildren, Amelia Quasney, and Charles Frizzell IV, and 2 nieces, Deanna Blank (Daniel) and Robyn Schneider (Chaim). Edwin was a United States Navy veteran on the USS Tarawa. He was a landscaper and lifelong farmer. He loved orchids, dogs and his family and not to forget …sweets and Chinese food. Funeral services will be held at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday June 29th at 11:00 am and Shiva will be held at Miriam’s home in Howell.
