Obituary of Pedro L. Hernandez

Pedro L. Hernandez, 56, of Freehold died on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. He was born in Puerto Rico. He was employed at the Borough of Freehold Street Department for the past three years. Pedro was an avid N.Y. Yankees and N.Y. Giants fan. He was predeceased by his mother, Aida Gonzalez. Surviving are his companion, Elizabeth Molyneux; two daughters, Alyssa Mariah Hernandez and Kasarah Hernandez; Jose Lopez, Jr. whom he raised from a young age; his father, Pedro Hernandez; two brothers, Roberto and Richard; three sisters, Lily, Marilyn, and Yahaira; and his two dogs, Ruby and Blue. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
