Obituary of Linda A. Quabeck

Linda Ann Quabeck of Freehold Borough died peacefully on May 25, 2022 at The Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Freehold Township, NJ. She was born in Long Branch, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Freehold Borough. She graduated from Freehold High School and Monmouth University where she earned BA and MBA degrees. She worked at McGraw-Hill as the Circulation Director for BusinessWeek Magazine in Hightstown, NJ and New York City for many years. Linda then worked for Bloomberg LP in Princeton, NJ and New York City as the Circulation Director of Bloomberg Personal Magazine and Markets Magazine. She retired and spent time with her many friends who enjoyed her wit, intelligence, and sense of humor. Linda was a world traveler, avid reader, and her favorite places to visit included the Jersey shore, Peddler’s Village and eating out. She was a friend to all and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Ann and is survived by her cousin Howard Quabeck and his wife Dawn of North Carolina, and Howard’s three daughters; Kelly Quabeck of Wall, NJ and her two sons; Dana Shuler and her husband Shawn of Utah; and Shannon Ramos and her son and daughter of Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday May 28 from 11 am-12 pm at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, NJ. Funeral services will be held the funeral home at 12 pm and burial will be at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold, NJ.
