Obituary of Nathan P. Forman

Nathan P. “Nate” Forman, Sr., 85, of Felton, Delaware passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at home. He was born in Millstone Township where he was a farmer most of his life. He moved to Delaware in 2000. He was a lifelong harness racing fan. At various times he owned, trained and drove standardbred horses. He also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin, Sr. and Grace Forman, brothers, Edwin, Jr. and Frank, and a sister Marie. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn J. Forman; two sons, Nathan Paul Forman, Jr. and his wife, Patricia, Toms River and Timothy A. Forman and his wife Teresa, Tinton Falls; a daughter, Janet J. Barker and her husband Barry, Warrington, Penn.; grandsons, Michael B. Forman and wife Kathryn, Brick and Keith J. Barker, Warrington, Penn.,a great granddaughter, Emily Grace Forman, Brick; two sisters, Hazel J. Hernandez, Smyrna, Delaware and Annabel Lake, Linden; and many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
