Obituary of Richard Bentley Carlsen

Richard Bentley Carlsen, 62 of Queensbury, New York, passed away on April 11, 2022 at Glens Falls Center, Glens Falls, New York. Born in Brooklyn, New York he lived in Florida prior to moving to Glens Falls in 2005. Richard was a medical technician for Glens Falls Hospital, Queensbury, New York. An avid pet lover, he was passionate about adopting from local rescue shelters. He was a kind and gentle soul, and a loving son and brother. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Carlsen. Surviving is his mother, Anne K. Olsen Carlsen, Gilbert, Arizona; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Karin Anne and Scott Frueh, Howell Township, and Julie K. and Peter Curtin, Gilbert, Arizona; and his nieces and nephews, Kirsten Frueh, Kenneth Frueh, Ian Curtin, Kaija Curtin and Hannah Curtin. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM.
