Obituary of Dorothy May Hasemann

Dorothy May Hasemann, 86, of Tinton Falls died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Seabrook Village, Renaissance Gardens, Tinton Falls, NJ. Mrs. Hasemann was born in Newark and had resided in Colts Neck Township before moving to Tinton Falls. She was a concierge for Sunrise Assisted Living, Lincroft. Mrs. Hasemann was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck. She was predeceased by her husband, James Michael Hasemann, a brother, Mario Sargente, and two sisters, Helen Niejako and Gloria Slomko. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James M. Hasemann, Jr. and Jenni Hasemann; a daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn E. Iuzzolino and Nicholas Iuzzolino; a sister, Evelyn DiGregorio; and five grandchildren, James M. Hasemann, III, Natalie Marie Hasemann, Nicole Elizabeth Iuzzolino, Christina Dorothy Iuzzolino, and Victoria Evelyn Iuzzolino. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Colts Neck on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
