Mr Fischer was not only my neighbor but my family. I grew up knowing that he would always be there to cheer me on, or let me know it was wrong. I loved him like a second father, he was an amazing man. We all envied Kim, Dawn, & Darlene for having the best father and mother in the neighborhood. My deepest condolences to you 3 girls, I love you all with all my heart.

Greetings: My Name is Ray/Raymond Slocum Jr. Wall Townshp, NJ. I am a longtime old friend of Don, going all the way back to the 1970's when many of us were active members in Central Jersey Streetrod Car Club, New Egypt. Don and I have in common the same birth month of Feb, 1943 , 6 days apart. Yes, Donald was a good , fun guy. I remember him as always being up, encoraging and good guy to be around . I also remember many years ago , he being a mastor fabricator, modifier , installing a Mustang Car front end, with P/S, in my '35 Chevy Streetrod some 30+ years ago , at his shop out at Colts Neck , NJ. That was a major change to the car , along with many more changes I made over the years , and still having the car today 2022 , now going on 41 years, and still using it showing it at Car shows, and Cruises! Don was an Ace to many of us , in the club, God Bless all the family !
Regards, Ray Slocum

Uncle Donald was the best Dad anyone could ever ask for. Watching the way he adored his daughters and wife growing up was amazing! There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them, so understanding, just like Aunt Sue. I loved them both, have beautiful memories that will last with me forever. Peace to his family.❤️
