Obituary of Shirley E. Bennett

Shirley E. Bennett, 98, of Tinton Falls passed away on March 7, 2022 at Seabrook Village. She was born in Newark and resided most of her life in Colts Neck Township Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Old Brick Reformed Church, Marlboro Township. She was a recruiter for the Central Jersey Blood Bank, Shrewsbury. She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar S. Bennett in 1994 and her parents, Edwin and Elizabeth Eelman Ash. Surviving are a son, Scott Bennett and Wandee Kennedy; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Michael Goodwin; and a sister-in-law, Florence Bennett. The interment was held at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
