Obituary of Henry L. Humphries

Henry Leonard Humphries, of Englishtown, on the afternoon of Thursday March 3, 2022 God felt it was time for him to peacefully close his eyes to this earthly world and accept his heavenly wings and fly to his new eternal home on high. He was born on February 13, 1966 in Neptune Township to the late Henry and Pansy Cutwright Humphries. At an early age Henry accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was baptized at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Englishtown. Henry was educated in the Englishtown school system, and graduated from Manalapan High School, Manalapan. He worked many years at Chris Industries, Howell, N.J. Henry married the love of his life Arlene Tyler. Henry was loved by many, “Leonard” as he was called by some, was always willing and able to help you no matter the situation. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife Arlene Humphries; a daughter, Beverly Renee Tyler, Philadelphia, Pa; grandsons Shawn O'Dell Tyler and Norman Lee Davis, granddaughters Diamond Nicole Smith and Dakota Skye Smith; his brother, Bryant D. Humphries, Raleigh, North Carolina; his sisters Louise Jones, Eatonton, GA, Priscilla Burton, Stone Mountain, GA, Dorothy Allen and her husband James, Howell Township, Annie Daniels, Cairo, Egypt; a brother in-law Derek A. Tyler, Englishtown and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Humphries 56 year life journey has truly been a blessing to everyone he has encountered. He will truly be missed by all the lives he has touched. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM. Interment will be private.
