Obituary of Helen Berry

Helen Berry, 95 of Freehold passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at home. Born in Jersey City, she lived there and in Toms River prior to moving to Freehold four years ago. Mrs. Berry was a salesperson at the B & B Department Store, Lavallette and Seaside Park for over 35 years, retiring several years ago. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, and her son-in-law James Ewing. Surviving are her daughters, Denise Giangeruso and her husband Carmine, and Lorraine Ewing; four grandchildren, Jill, Carmine and his wife Paula, Christopher and his wife Deanna, and Frank and his wife Jennifer; and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private. Donations in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
