Obituary of Lynda J. Curcio

Lynda J. Curcio, 76 of Freehold Township passed away while surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. Mrs. Curcio was born in Staten Island and had resided in Freehold for many years. She was director of telecommunications at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township where she served for many years before her retirement 20 years ago. Her husband of 54 years, John J. Curcio, died in 2018. She was also predeceased by her brother, Vincent G. Shreck. Surviving are three children, John V. Curcio and wife Stephanie; Ellyn Dobson and husband David, and Leanne Cook and fiancé David Scott; a sister-in-law, Sheila Shreck; and nine grandchildren, Amanda, Gina and husband Beau, Nicole, Abigail, Jake, Tess, Sean, Albert Joseph, and Annalise. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Open Door of Freehold, 39 Throckmorton Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
