Obituary of Terrence Mitchell Cromwell

Terrence Mitchell Cromwell was born on September 22, 1966 to the late Arthur and Janet Cromwell Jr. in Elizabeth, NJ. He entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2021 due to an illness. His family and friends affectionately knew him as Terry. Terrence grew up in Linden, NJ and was educated in the Linden Public Schools system; he moved to Rahway, NJ in his senior year of high school and graduated from Rahway High School. In his younger years, he loved playing football, loved listening to music and loved to dance. He loved watching Kung Fu movies and loved watching the “Six Million Dollar Man” television series. His favorite music artist was Prince. Terrence believed in working, and maintaining employment and was hired at most of his jobs as a forklift driver (which he enjoyed). The Supermarkets General Corp., Hagan Daz and the Salvation Army of New York City gainfully employed him. Terrence accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as an adult. He met and dated Kim and after a long courtship, the two became married in January, 2019. Terrence is predeceased in death by his parents Arthur Cromwell, Jr. and Janet Cromwell, and his sister Cecilia (Choo Choo) Cromwell. He leaves to cherish fond memories: His wife Kimberly, his mother, Lee Cromwell of Monmouth Junction, NJ; his brother Michael Cromwell (Kimble) of Linden, NJ; three daughters – Sara Byndum of North Carolina, Fantasia Clark and Contessa Clark of Irvington, NJ and Regina Clark (his daughters’ mother); stepdaughter Janell Morris of Millstone, NJ; two nieces – Monaque Cromwell (Derrick) and Laila Cromwell; two nephews – Christian Harris and Hunter Cromwell; two great nephews, Eli’Sha Cromwell-Minor and E’Sham Cromwell; spiritual mother – Pastor Renee Cummings; spiritual sister Genea’ Sampson and a host of family members and friends. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM.
